Join ACTIVATE/SDS in a rally calling for our area representatives–Vern Ehlers, Carl Levin, and Debbie Stabenow–to support an immediate end to the occupation of Iraq. The rally is taking place around the time that General Patreus will be delivering a report to Congress on the “successes” of the “surge.” ACTIVATE/SDS is saying:
- No to the “surge!”
- No more funding for the occupation!
- Bring the troops home now!
Bring signs, banners, noisemakers, and other such things. There will be speakers and information on upcoming antiwar efforts by ACTIVATE.
