As part of our work in opposing the ongoing occupation of Iraq, ACTIVATE engages in counter-recruitment work. We do this by holding demonstrations outside of recruiting centers, educating people about the realities of military service, and providing alternatives to youth targeted by military recruiters, and assisting youth in organizing against recruiters in their schools.
ACTIVATE has the capacity to provide information tables in schools and at events and can has prepared presentations for students and organizations about military recruiting.
